MARTIN COUNTY, Fla. — The woman who went missing while horseback riding on the 40 miles of trails in DuPuis Park has been safely located.

Brigitte Reket, 58, didn't return to camp Friday and she contacted a friend on her phone to say she was lost in the large reserve area near Kanner Highway.

Multiple units with the Martin County Sheriff's Office, Palm Beach County Sheriff's Office and Fish & Wildlife Conservation searched for Reket. They included air support.

She was located Saturday morning about 14 miles off course near the park management area in Port Mayaca.

She and her horse are in good condition and were escorted back to camp.

DFW and South Florida Water Management District run the nearly 22,000-acres DuPuis Wildlife and Environmental Area in northwestern Palm Beach and southwestern Martin counties. It adjoins the J.W. Corbett Wildlife Management Area to the east.

Services include an equestrian campground.
