Treasure Coast

The Treasure Coast of Florida, including Indian River, St. Lucie, and Martin counties, is named after the 1715 shipwreck of a Spanish treasure fleet. Originally home to the Ais and Jaega tribes, the region experienced growth with the arrival of the Florida East Coast Railway in the early 20th century. Today, it's known for its beautiful beaches, rich history, and vibrant tourism industry.
