Millions of people around the world we're behind them with historic crowds.

"Everybody was behind us supporting us," said Junior Adam Buchwald.

Douglas Senior Julia Salomone facetimed with us on her way south from D.C.

She wants people to know one thing.

"A lot of people are saying oh the march is the cherry on top of the cake, but no, this is just the beginning," said Salomone.

Buchwald is the co-creator of Parents Promise to Kids. He is unable to vote this November so he is trying to get parents to promise they will vote for lawmakers who support stricter gun laws.

"It's so important the contract is signed because it is going to impact the November elections," said Buchwald.

Noah Damiani is 18 and he plans to mobilize the younger generation.

"The next step is to get people out there and vote and that's the biggest step," said Damiani.
