WEST PALM BEACH, Fla. — Amid the coronavirus, a South Florida staple is serving up some sweet deals for first-responders and many delivery workers.

Pollo Tropical is offering 50 percent off orders from health care workers, first responders, as well as United States Postal Service, FedEx and UPS workers.

The deal is good for all drive-thru or take-out orders at all of the brand's 141 Florida locations.

The offer is valid for police, fire personnel & EMTs in uniform. Health care, USPS, UPS and FedEx workers must show valid work ID at the time of purchase.

Pollo Tropical said the offer is valid for a limited time at participating company-owned locations only.

Also, the Caribbean and Latin food chain is offering all customers free delivery now through April 3 on all orders placed through their website or app. No coupon code is required.

Despite the executive order closing the dine-in portion of restaurants in Florida, Pollo Tropical’s drive-through and mobile pick-up service remains open.
