WEST PALM BEACH, Fla. — Palm Beach County officials announced Wednesday the "Restart Business Grants Program" was approved for an additional $20 million by commissioners.

This means businesses that were negatively impacted by COVID-19 will have more time to apply.

The application portal will resume accepting applications for a one-week starting Oct. 26 at 8 a.m and through Nov. 2 at 5 p.m.

Grants up to $15,000 will be available to businesses that have not previously received a Restart Business Grant through Palm Beach County.

The application process will be completed entirely online.

Businesses are encouraged to prepare for the Restart Business Grant Program application because they will be processed on a first-come basis.

In addition to general information about the business, tax returns, payroll reports and an active Palm Beach County business receipt or valid exemption from the Palm Beach County tax collector will be required.

The application will be posted on the Department of Housing and Economic Sustainability page of the Palm Beach County website.
