If you’ve been dreaming of Taco Bell’s nacho fries since they disappeared from the menu shortly after their launch earlier this year, we have news that is sure to make your day: Nacho fries are officially returning to Taco Bell on July 12!
According to a press release, Taco Bell’s initial launch of nacho fries marked the biggest debut in the company’s history, so it’s no surprise they’re making a comeback.
Their return is once again for a limited time only, so if you’re eager for a second round of nacho fries or didn’t get to try them the first time, don’t miss out!
While the Mexican-seasoned fries previously cost $1, they will now cost $1.29 for just fries and cheese sauce, or $2.49 if you want them served “Supreme.” If you’re looking to make them a meal, for $3.49, you can also get them as a “BellGrande,” which includes beef, nacho cheese sauce, tomatoes and sour cream.
To celebrate their return, Taco Bell is also honoring the 25th anniversary of the film “Demolition Man,” where all the restaurants are now Taco Bellin a utopian future after the “franchise wars.” The fast food chain will also celebrate the movie at San Diego’s Comic Con July 19 to 21.
Before anyone even tried them the first time they were released, Taco Bell fans were pretty much bursting with excitement. Because they made their introduction in January, some were even willing to give up their New Year’s resolution just three days into the new year.

While you wait nacho fries at your local Taco Bell, remember that Dunkin’ Donuts is getting it on the fry game as well, introducing “donut fries” on July 2. While they’re not exactly fries, they are doughnuts in a fry-like shape, so they should at least tide you over until you can get some of that sweet, sweet nacho cheese.
Did you taste-test Taco Bell’s nacho fries last time or will you be picking some up this time around?
