BOCA RATON, Fla. — As Florida Atlantic prepares for its first game of the Willie Taggart era, the team canceled practice Tuesday after receiving "positive COVID-19 test results for a number of student-athletes."

Team spokeswoman Katrina McCormack announced the cancellation of Tuesday's practice after receiving the test results late Monday.

"Practice was not held Tuesday morning while contact tracing and another round of testing is completed," McCormack said in a statement.
