Olympic speed skating legend Bonnie Blair-Cruikshank once dominated the ice, winning five gold medals, and now her daughter is following in her skate strides.

Blair Cruikshank has qualified for the U.S. trials at the Pettit National Ice Center, and is hopeful she'll make the 2018 games in PyeongChang.

Blair has an Olympic pedigree on both sides of the family. Her father, David Cruikshank, is a four-time Olympic speed skater as well.

WPTV's sister station in Milwaukee, TODAY’S TMJ4, caught up with Bonnie and Blair to talk about her training to make Team USA for the 2018 games.
