'Gators, 'Canes, 'Noles, Bulls ready for bowls

The college football bowl season was announced Sunday, and four Florida schools will look to end their season with a win. 

Florida State will be heading to Atlanta to take on Houston in the Chick-fil-A Peach Bowl.

The 10-2 Seminoles are coming off a 27-2 win over arch-rival Florida in the regular season finale. The game is Thursday, Dec. 31 at noon on ESPN.

The Gators will make the short bus ride down to Orlando to take on Michigan in the Buffalo Wild Wings Citrus Bowl. The game is Friday, Jan. 1 at 1 p.m. on ABC.

Meanwhile, Miami is Texas-bound. The Hurricanes will square off against Washington State in the Hyundai Sun Bowl.  The game is Saturday, Dec. 26 at 2 p.m. on CBS.

Under third-year coach Willie Taggart, the South Florida Bulls will play the Western Kentucky Hilltoppers in the Miami Beach Bowl.  The game is set for Monday, Dec. 21 at 2:30 p.m. on ESPN at Marlins Park.

Temple will face Toledo in the Marmot Boca Raton Bowl
