PALM BEACH GARDENS, Fla. — One of the biggest names in golf won't be participating in next week's Honda Classic in Palm Beach Gardens.

Jupiter Island resident Tiger Woods tweeted Thursday he will miss this year's tournament, which begins Feb. 28 at PGA National.

Tiger said in a tweet he is "taking next week off" and "sorry to miss seeing Jack (Nicklaus) and everyone at Honda."

However, plenty of other stars will be competing in the tournament, including defending champion Justin Thomas, two-time U.S. Open winner and Palm Beach County native Brooks Koepka, Rickie Fowler, Sergio Garcia, Adam Scott and Ernie Els.
