A developing low in Colorado is about ready to cause a headache for parts of the Plains and eventually the Midwest.
The low is still developing in the Rockies, but it's expected to strengthen and intensify quickly.
The National Weather Service has already issued Blizzard warnings for the northeast corner of Colorado, going into effect at 10 p.m. local time Tuesday.
After this system brings 3-6" of snow and winds gusting up to 40 miles per hour, dropping visibilities to near zero. It's going to continue moving east.
That's why they're on high alert in the Midwest, and parts of the South.
The Storm Prediction Center has already issued an enhanced risk for severe storms across Missouri, Illinois and Iowa for Wednesday.
They're calling for strong, damaging winds, large hail and tornadoes, especially by the afternoon and evening.
