It's the unofficial start of summer - Memorial Day Weekend.
A lot happens all across the country over the long weekend including festivals, graduations, barbecues, parades, and even the Indy 500.
Most of those activities happen outside, so they rely a lot on the forecast.
While a lot of us get a long weekend away from work, Mother Nature doesn't take a break.
There are still a few chances for severe thunderstorms in the Plains at the beginning of the weekend, but the rest of the country should be able to enjoy most of it.
