Tyree Smith is an award-winning sports anchor for ESPN 106.3 on WPTV and FOX 29. Tyree is a Palm Beach County native who attended Park Vista and Oxbridge Academy during his high school years.
Tyree attended Beloit College in Wisconsin, where he played football and ran track. In 2019, he earned a bachelor's degree in media studies and minored in journalism and anthropology, graduating with honors.
Before returning to South Florida, Tyree spent a year and six months as the sports director for WBUP in Ishpeming, Michigan. He won a Michigan Association of Broadcasters (MAB) award for best sportscast on a local basketball player.
During his free time, Tyree loves to workout, watch anime and spend time with friends and family.
