WEST PALM BEACH, Fla. — Tomorrow, highs in the mid-upper 80s with more sunshine and only some passing showers as slightly drier air pushes into the area.

Wednesday through the weekend, highs in the mid-upper 80s. While the weather won't be as active as the last several days, we still can't rule out the chance for some showers and storms on the onshore flow.

In the tropics, Tropical Storm Philippe made landfall on the island of Barbuda around 6 p.m., according to the National Hurricane Center. Maximum sustained winds were near 50 mph. Philipp remained with 50 mph winds and was about 70 miles east-southeast of St. Martin, moving northwest at 7 mph in the 11 p.m. update.

Philippe could bring up to 6 inches of rain to some of the Leeward Islands, which will likely result in flash floods, although it will not make a direct hit to the islands since it will turn north out to sea.

Swells from Philippe will impact the northern Leeward Islands, Virgin Islands and Puerto Rico during the next few days.

Rina is now a post-tropical cyclone in the central Atlantic Ocean and there are no other areas of concern for development.
