Earlier on Thursday, Palm Beach County officials urged residents to get prepared by making a hurricane kit and knowing your evacuation zone.

Gov. Ron DeSantis has expanded a state of emergency to include all 67 counties in Florida, which allows local governments and emergency management agencies to have time, resources, and flexibility to get prepared.
