WEST PALM BEACH, Fla. — We have been watching a cold front for the weekend for the past week and it will drop our humidity and temperatures briefly Sunday and the first half of Monday. Rain chances will return quickly as we head into the workweek.
Enjoy the brief break in humidity and cooling temperatures for a bit, especially at night for areas away from the coast.
Rain chances will be back to 40% by Tuesday and up to 60% by Wednesday.
In the tropics, Philippe is now post-tropical and is moving quickly north-northeast at 20 mph.
It will bring heavy rain and winds to New England this weekend with a chance of flash flooding this weekend.
Also, we are watching a wave that will be moving off the coast of Africa tonight and has a 10% to 50% chance of development in two to seven days.
It is expected to turn north well before getting close to us if it does develop.
