WEST PALM BEACH, Fla. — A gusty breeze remains through the end of the week with the chance for spotty showers and storms. Saharan dust swept through the area, adding hazy conditions.
Tuesday: Forecast high is 91 and the low will be 80. Hazy, breezy with 20% chance of showers.
Wednesday: Forecast high is 90 and the low will be 79 with coastal showers (30% chance).
Wednesday: Forecast high is 90 and the low will be 78 with isolated showers (40% chance).
There is one named tropical system in the tropics.
Tropical Storm Gert formed and dissipated late Monday over the Atlantic waters.

Then there is Tropical Storm Franklin. This is a stronger and healthier system and will impact the central Caribbean, especially Hispaniola on Wednesday.
Meanwhile, a disturbance in the Gulf of Mexico may become a tropical depression or storm by Tuesday. Impacts are forecast for southern Texas and northeastern Mexico.
The other wave is located near the Cabo Verde Islands with gradual development throughout the week and may become a depression by late week.
