A tropical wave located several hundred miles east-southeast of the Windward Islands has a low chance of development in the next five days.
Regardless of development, this system could bring locally heavy rainfall to portions of the Lesser Antilles during the next few days.
Some gradual development of this system is possible over the next couple of days while it moves west-northwestward toward the Windward Islands but models aren't impressed with this system.
Unfavorable conditions should limit development this weekend while the system moves over the eastern Caribbean Sea.
Models are in agreement currently that this system poses no threat to South Florida.
